Arcata, Humboldt County, CA. It's tempting to stay here in the foggy cold, among people who seem so...well, down-to-earth. Really. The earth is important here. Was also tempted to see if I could find a place to get a haircut, but looking around at the residents I saw at the Oriental Buffet, I realized something. And it only makes this place more attractive. No one really cares what they or you look like! And they are beautiful, like their surroundings.

I know we're in Humboldt County, but it's not what you think.
