It means something about the home or the homeland. I don't know who brought it back from a trip to that particular homeland of mine, but the plate has been around for more than 20 years. When I discovered that it broke in its move from Mexico, I glued it together and hung it in the downstairs hallway.
I was staring at the plate yesterday wondering exactly how to pronounce the phrase. And tonight as I was goofing on Facebook, the Do you understand any Hungarian? quiz came available. I love taking fun quizzes and couldn't resist this one, though I know that if anyone asked me "Do you understand any Hungarian?", I'd have to answer with the negative. I'd probably also be tempted to say something to show off that I know a little about the language. Like, "I thought Hungarians speak Magyar." Hopefully I'd realize that just like some speakers of Gaelic call it "Irish" in English, maybe some Magyars call the language Hungarian in English. Evidently, I would know. My results follow.

También existe la "Házi Áldás", la oración del hogar, que es muy corriente en todas las casas húngaras. Ya te la pasaré. Es hermosa. Ahí va cómo se pronuncia Éljen a Háza. Nagyon jó!! (¡Muy bien!) Igem, "köszönöm szépen", "köszi", "muchas gracias" van magyarul. No te creas, yo también echo mano de los diccionarios online, es difícil y yo, la verdad, sé muy muy poquito, nagyon kicsit magyarul értem. Pero es una lengua preciosa, nagyon szép.

PD: la "z" en Háza no es líquida, sino sonora, pero sí es como el silbido de una serpiente, también puedes imaginarte a Drácula diciendo voy a mi Háaazzzzaaa. La s líquida en húngaro se escribe sola "s" y suena como vuestra s en "she". La sz es una s normal.
