¡Damn Yankees!

Ginger howls. She lives with three other dogs, a bird and two people. Her people have satelite radio and listen almost exclusively to the showtunes station. I'd probably howl at the showtunes myself if the house and the company and the conversation weren't such pleasant distractions. Usually, the music just floats in the background.

At one point tonight Ginger lifted up her head and howled just like Stella, only there weren't any sirens working as catalysts to the cathartic sounds. "She hates this song," explained R. "What song is it?" He looked a bit incredulous that I'd asked, but what with the howling, I didn't recognize "You Gotta Have Heart" (From Damn Yankees). I wonder how Ginger would react to the "Jewel Song"...
